Built for local workflows
A cooperative, a landlord or a fleet operator does not work like a generic foreign template. Bengali-ready products and a Dhaka team fit the way the work actually happens.
The company
A product house for the country's digital economy.
Software Bazar Bangladesh builds business software in Dhaka and stays on the line after it ships.
The company was registered in 2015 as Akand Info Technologies and renamed Software Bazar Bangladesh in 2020. The work is purpose-built software that helps Bangladeshi businesses run on systems instead of paper. A team of more than 30 people — including 25+ digital experts across engineering, design and support — builds and services that software from the head office in Uttara, Dhaka.
Two engines keep the company moving. The first is a family of SaaS products — cooperative accounting, property management, fleet and transport operations — sold on subscription and backed by local support. The second is a services practice for custom software, web and mobile apps, cloud, ERP and automation.
The through-line is smart, dependable, locally serviced software. Member of BASIS, e-CAB and e-Club, and active in JCI. Meet the team.
Why clients stay
Local software, priced and serviced here.
Subscription, then support
Clients get a predictable cost. We get a reason to keep the product correct, release after release, instead of disappearing after a one-off handover.
SME digitisation
Millions of small businesses in Bangladesh still run on paper registers. The demand for software that is simple enough to adopt is the market we build for.
One engineering base
The same team that ships domestic products can deliver custom systems. PHP, Laravel, cloud and mobile — chosen because business software has to stay dependable.
The team
The people who build and support the products.
